A person who tested positive for COVID-19 has been inside my library building within the past seven days.

  1. Inform staff of exposure, but do not disclose the person’s name without permission.
  2. Notify Dana Farabaugh at dana.farabaugh@wlnonline.org or 724-420-5638 ext. 103.
  3. Close the building for 24 hours, or as long as possible, and then clean and disinfect all areas used by the ill person. (Source)
  4. Begin daily temperature checks for staff upon arrival at the library. If an employee recorded a temperature of at least 100.4 during their daily screening AND was in close contact with a person who tested positive, the staff member should be sent home and quarantine for 14 days. If the employee records a temperature of at least 100.4 degrees and has not been in close contact with a person who tested positive, the staff member should stay home until he/she receives a negative test result OR he/she experiences at least 24 fever-free hours and at least 10 days have passed since symptoms first appeared.
