To celebrate Women’s History Month, the Norwin Public Library is pleased to host a women’s history program about Sarah B. Cochran with Donna Jordan and joined virtually by author, Kimberly Hess. Sarah B. Cochran was from Fayette County and is known for her mansion, Linden Hall.
But Sarah was much more than that. She was a captain of industry, business rival to H.C. Frick, suffragist and philanthropist. Because she was a woman, Sarah’s life remains “hidden in plain sight.”
In “A Lesser Mortal” author Kimberly Hess reveals the remarkable story of a woman who changed countless lives in our region.
