Meet Sphero! Sphero is a programmable robot that helps children learn coding skills. You can draw, use block coding, or even Java Script to create your own program for Sphero to run. What will you tell Sphero to do? Some knowledge of basic coding concepts is helpful but not required. Thanks to a grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry, the library will be offering monthly Sphero coding programs for children in grades 5 through 8. Please only register for a program if you can commit to attending both sessions. Each Sphero coding program will cover the same concepts, please only register for one Sphero program during the season. Registration required.
