Calling all chess players! The annual Westmoreland Library Network Chess Tournament is back! Youth is grades K-4 are invited to participate in the Jr. Division on Saturday, March 18. The top two players from the Junior division will be invited to play in the county-wide tournament which will be held at the Greensburg Hempfield Area Library on April 22. Please review the rules of the tournament when you sign up.

Tournament Rules:
Children can only participate in one Westmoreland Library Network Tournament. Playing in multiple tournaments will disqualify players.
All players will play five games. Players must arrive between 9-9:30. Tournament play will begin at exactly 9:30.
All decisions by the tournament judges are final.
No books, computers, phones, tablets, notes, or other devices that connect to the internet are allowed in the tournament room.
Parents and guardians must wait outside the tournament room during game play.
No advice to or from other people is allowed during tournament play.
